Maria Lezhnina出生於俄羅斯，擁有相當豐富的藝術及設計經驗，曾在瑞士景觀研究計劃，並於義大利國家博物館發表二十一世紀新興能源對於藝術的衝擊。其作品在日本和台灣屢屢獲獎。Maria 致力於建築教學與空間知識，也致力於大氣、氣體及液體等各層面所組成之視覺美學體驗，Maria Lezhnina 是一位建築師更是一位視覺藝術家，擅長利用攝影與視覺設計。現居台灣，曾旅居日本、義大利、瑞士和中國，其最著名作品「untitiled climates」 專注於探討新的景觀攝影方法，著於闡述氣候如何定義風景。
